Flipping Phantom - Major Update and Future Plans


Over the past year, I have worked on a number of new projects and made games for a handful of jams, but there was one game I couldn't quite get out of my head. I had made Flipping Phantom for a jam and was really proud of the core inverted gravity mechanic I had designed for it, but I felt that I had not fully explored the level design possibilities, or brought it the level of polish that it deserved.

So today I bring to you the first major update to Flipping Phantom in over a year! This update is packed with changes, including new levels, collectible pumpkins, saved game states, a level select menu, and a generally higher level of polish. But most of all, I worked on overhauling the art design, taking the game from boring programmer art to slightly more appealing programmer art!

Maybe less boring?

My ultimate goal with Flipping Phantom is to bring it to a full, paid release. With at least 4 worlds, new mechanics, unlockable challenges, stat tracking for deaths and speed-runs, and cute, customizable ghost outfits.
